We all learn by doing. BIZits are provided for you to take action. You will be taken inside other businesses, where you can observe, ask questions and have the opportunity to get involved with someone within your community who will enable you to see how a business operates.
Here you will find a featured BIZit. Be active by doing this BIZit and then share your experience with the rest of the community.

It shouldn't be too difficult to have your parent or mentor take you to Burger King or any other fast food restaurant. This time, however, plan enough time to include the following exercise:
As you drive up to Burger King, discuss the following with your parent/mentor:
- "Someone owns the company that makes the sign for Burger King. Can you imagine a factory filled with burger king signs? Maybe that's how Burger King knows that all the signs will be the same." After you order your food and have eaten, point out the following to your mentor:
- See the person behind the counter? She is an employee of Burger King. She gets paid so much per hour to show up and do that job. As long as she shows up when she is supposed to and does the job she is trained for, she will get paid. When she gets her paycheck, she will be paid only for the time she has physically been here working."
